Hide and Show objects in Autodesk Maya

Sometimes its required to hide certain parts of a scene to work on other parts which are concealed or overlapping.

  • Display > Hide > Hide selection (CTRL > H) 
  • Display > Show > Show last hidden (SHIFT > CMD > H)
  • Hidden objects in the outliner appear greyed out
  • To display again, click the object in the outliner and press SHIFT + H
  • You can select one object and hide all others (ALT + H)
